Under the Health & Safety Act at Work 1974, employers have a duty of care to their staff and other persons with respect to health and safety matters in the workplace. This includes a requirement to provide necessary information, instruction and training.
Health & Safety is an important area of operation which can’t be ignored. It helps to know, therefore, that accredited training and qualifications are available. The following awards are available through Exclusive Training:
- Level 1 Award in Principles of Health & Safety in the Workplace -aimed at providing a basic knowledge for employees in their workplace, this includes awareness of their duties under UK legislation.
- Level 2 Award in Health and Safety in the Workplace – aimed at providing candidates with a basic knowledge of H & S practices for the workplace and legislation, as well recognising hazards, risks and practical control measures awareness. Suitable for both public and private sectors.
